Se utilizó la línea de investigación Educación y Sociedad, desde la que fue posible hacer una reflexión en el proceso educativo partiendo de las necesidades y posibilidades del contexto social. El enfoque de investigación fue el cualitativo, el tipo el transeccional o transversal y el diseño narrativo. El documento está dividido en 4 capítulos así: Capítulo I contextualización de la problemática, capítulo II fundamentación teórica de la investigación, capítulo III aspectos metodológicos de la investigación y el capítulo IV análisis o interpretación de los resultados o hallazgos.The area of Spanish language is being evaluated by the MEN through the ICFES in a census manner, which has made it possible to know that the academic level of the students is not the best, therefore, it is necessary to delve into the general problem taking as shows a portion of students from the Educational Institution and from the use of discontinuous texts contribute to the strengthening of this process.
