Así mismo, se analiza la crisis educativa actual, y los factores sociales, políticos y económicos que confluyen en ella. Se destaca la importancia de la educación a lo largo de la vida, como vehículo para la trasformación social, y promover el crecimiento y desarrollo de los países de una forma más justa y equitativa. Finalmente, se plantean premisas y postulados sobre los desafíos de los sistemas educativos actuales, haciendo énfasis en la perspectiva educativa que implica el siglo XXI, y como debe abordarse para generar una reflexión acerca del modelo de educación requerido, para formar ciudadanos capaces de vivir pacíficamente en armonía con el medio ambiente y acceder al conocimiento y desarrollo del mundo globalizado.This article presents a general analytical overview of the current state of education systems in the international context, based on the review of information from UNESCO, the OECD, other local institutions and official international organizations, and information obtained from research articles in the field of Education. Likewise, the current educational crisis and the social, political and economic factors that converge in it are analyzed. The importance of education throughout life is highlighted, as a vehicle for social transformation, and to promote the growth and development of countries in a more fair and equitable way.
