Se tiene una idea errónea al limitar la ciencia al conocimiento encerrado en las paredes de un laboratorio, o al remitirnos a algunas áreas del conocimiento, cuando es cierto que cada vez que el hombre, desde sus inicios empezó a formularse interrogantes sobre él mismo, y sobre el mundo que lo rodeaba, empezó a hacer y producir ciencia. Siendo así, los interrogantes, las indagaciones, la búsqueda, y las preguntas, el camino para grandes hallazgos que le han permitido al ser humano entender, entenderse, explicar y explicarse a sí mismo y a otros sobre asuntos existenciales y del porqué de las cosas. En este ensayo se esbozará como el hombre, como ser razonable, es capaz a través de la investigación de crear ciencia, por las capacidades innatas de observación, reflexión, e innovación que este tiene. No se debe ser científico para investigar, sino tener una capacidad y disposición crítica, metódica y una sensibilidad social para generar transformación no solo en la propia existencia sino también en lo que para muchos puede ser inalcanzable.The objective of this essay is to make a historical review of the development of the sciences and to make an approach to the bases of scientific research.
